Most road accidents are only reported when someone calls 911, costing valuable time. With cities already equipped with public traffic cameras, the students saw an opportunity to turn the current infrastructure into an emergency response system. Sentinel uses real-time traffic cameras coming from Quebec 511 and machine learning to detect crashes instantly. Once an accident is identified, it generates a structured report with AI, stores the data in a database, and automatically calls first responders.

With rising online threats like phishing, malicious URLs, and NSFW content, the students saw a need for a simple, unified protection tool. SecureGO was developed as an all-in-one browser extension that ensures real-time protection without interrupting the user experience. It detects phishing emails, blocks unsafe URLs, filters NSFW content, and provides users with a dynamic dashboard to track their protection stats.

SafeMap is a navigation tool that helps users avoid high-crime areas by using real-time data to suggest safer walking and driving routes. It visualizes crime through weighted heat maps and icons, warning users of nearby incidents and unsafe parking zones. The web app also offers a parking mode that filters areas based on car-related crimes, helping drivers find safer spots.
